Andalucía weekend forecast July 24-27: Mixed bag of sunshine, storms and rising temperatures
Hot inland with unsettled spells in the east and along the Med coast

Thursday July 24

It’s a day of two halves across the region. While it will stay mostly sunny around Huelva and Cádiz, cloudier skies are expected inland and in the east. Showers and the risk of thunderstorms will develop in areas like Granada and Jaén, and these could be heavy at times, possibly with hail. It’ll be another scorcher in the Guadalquivir Valley, with significantly high temperatures likely around Córdoba. Expect lighter winds inland but a moderate easterly breeze along the eastern Mediterranean coast by the afternoon.
Friday July 25

Some early morning showers may linger in the northeast, especially around Almería, where storms could still pop up before things clear later in the day. Elsewhere, including around Tarifa and Córdoba, skies will brighten as the hours go on. Temperatures will vary again, dipping slightly on the Mediterranean side but warming along the coast near Cádiz. A Levante wind will pick up strength across the coastline during the afternoon, with breezy conditions through the Strait.
Saturday July 26

A brighter and more settled day across the board. From Seville to the Almería coastline, skies will stay clear or mostly sunny. Minimum temperatures will be fairly steady, but it’ll start to feel hotter again during the afternoon, particularly inland. Winds will remain light and variable, though a moderate easterly breeze will continue along the Strait and parts of the eastern coast.
Sunday July 27

Another mostly sunny day for the region, with some cloud and mist possible along the Mediterranean later on, especially near Málaga. Temperatures will continue to climb, although the far west of Andalucía might hold on to slightly milder conditions. Winds will be calm overall, with a moderate Levante in the Strait during the morning hours.
So, to sum up, Thursday and Friday could bring some stormy surprises, especially in the northeast, so keep an eye on local alerts. After that, it’s shaping up to be a warm and breezy weekend – ideal for early strolls or lazy afternoons in the shade.
