Blustery Atlantic weather rolls on into the new week across Andalucía, bringing further showers, longer spells of rain and strong gusts, especially in the east and around the Strait. Temperatures creep up compared with last week, and there will be some sunnier intervals, mainly near the Mediterranean.

 

 

Cloudy skies bring light to moderate rain across much of the region, heavier and more persistent around the west. Through the afternoon, cloud and rain ease, with the Mediterranean coast turning partly cloudy. Temperatures rise generally, in places quite noticeably in the eastern interior. Westerly winds are light to moderate but locally strong, with very strong gusts in the Strait and eastern areas, and yellow alerts for rain in Cádiz, Málaga and Jaén, and for wind in Granada and Cádiz.

 

 

Skies stay very cloudy or overcast with light to moderate rain, most persistent over higher ground and heavier at times further east. Along the Mediterranean, rain is less likely and many spots see just cloud and a few showers. Night-time temperatures rise, particularly inland in the east, and daytime highs lift in the eastern third while holding steady elsewhere. Winds are light to moderate, south-westerly on the Atlantic side and westerly along the Mediterranean, with strong gusts in eastern mountains and yellow wind alerts in Granada and Almería.

 

 

Another mostly cloudy day brings further light to moderate rain, again more persistent over inland hills near Córdoba, with fewer showers along the Mediterranean and in the far east. Temperatures change little, though nights become a touch milder and daytime values dip slightly around the Sierra Morena and Seville province. Westerly winds are light to moderate, strengthening at times with very strong gusts possible on eastern coasts and higher ground.

 

 

Partly cloudy skies start the day, with low cloud and patchy light to moderate rain on the Atlantic side around Huelva and Cádiz and nearby hills. Rain becomes more widespread and heavier again later in the western half, while the far east stays mainly dry with more cloud than rain. Minimum temperatures slip a little, except in the southwest, and daytime highs show very little change. Westerly winds are light to moderate, with occasional strong and very strong gusts still possible on eastern coasts and uplands.

 

 

All told, it is another changeable, showery week for Andalucía, but with temperatures turning a bit milder at times and the best chances for brighter breaks along the Mediterranean shore.
