Maximum temperatures in Murcia, Tuesday May 21

There will not be any great fluctuations in temperature this week in the Region of Murcia, according to the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet), with sunny, but slightly cloudy, days forecast.

At night, the temperatures will be around 10-12ºC in northern parts of the Region, around Mula and Yecla, while it will be more like a balmy 15-18ºC at the coldest point of the day in Águilas, Mazarrón and Cartagena.

During the day, it is the centre of the Region that will be the hottest – Murcia city, Molina de Segura, Totana – with temperatures reaching up to around 30ºC! The maximum temperatures reached in the north this week will be a couple of degrees cooler than this, while on the coast we can generally expect to get maximums of 23-27ºC.

In terms of precipitation, while it will be fairly cloudy all week long, it should mainly be dry and not too much rain is forecast. However, for the beginning of the week, Aemet says there may be a chance of rainfall and even thunderstorms in the north of the Region on Monday May 20 and Tuesday 21. These will also likely be the windiest days of the week, though the windspeeds should still remain moderate, rarely exceeding 20-25kmh.
