New Camposol hospital makes announcement

After confusion on social media the private hospital on Camposol issues a statement

As the new Camposol private hospital which will serve the Murcia area nears becoming fully operational, rumours on social media have caused confusion regarding who is covered for treatment and which insurance companies will be sending their patients to the new Guadalentín Hospital in the Camposol urbanisation.

A spokesperson from the hospital management has asked Camposol Today to publish the following statement on its behalf:

“We would like to inform you that an agreement has been reached to attend patients covered by all international health insurances however, we are still waiting upon all the paperwork to be finalised.

“Once this service is under way we will make sure to inform all of our patients.

“As per spanish private insurance companies, negotiations are being held to be able to attend them. Once this service is under way we will also make sure to inform all of our patients.”

The new hospital opened its emergencies department in August, which provides treatment on a private basis where treatment is paid for by the patient.
