Santiago de la Ribera and La Manga del Mar Menor Tourist Information Points now open for summer

The Tourist Information Points on the San Javier beachfronts are open from this June 19 until September 14

The San Javier Department of Tourism is reopening the Tourist Information Points on the beaches of the Playa de Barnuevo, Santiago de la Ribera and Playa Mistral, in La Manga del Mar Menor for the summer season to be able to “bring its services closer to the public”.

San Javier’s Councillor for Tourism and Beaches, Estíbaliz Masegosa, explained that the idea is to “decentralise the tourist offices and bring these Information Points, staffed by technical personnel, to the beaches”.

“It provides both tourists and residents with access to any type of information of interest for their holidays or free time,” she said.

The Tourist Information Points provide local, national and regional tourist information, including maps, public transport, cultural, festive and sporting events, among other topics.

The Santiago de la Ribera Point opened for the Aire25 air festival last weekend, while the one in La Manga del Mar Menor opens today, Thursday June 19.
