Summer bus service to the lighthouse of Cabo de Palos

Services are increased on 14^th and 15^th August during the Cabo Pop festival

As we near the middle of August the number of people flocking to the headland on which the iconic lighthouse of Cabo de Palos stands is leading to severe traffic problems, and local authorities are keen to remind visitors that there is a summer bus service available over the weekend of 14^th and 15^th August to coincide with the Cabo Pop festival.

The service runs between the car park at Las Dunas shopping centre and the lighthouse and is free of charge, enabling visitors to the festival to leave their vehicles back down in the car parks on the other side of town and avoid the walk up the hill.

The service runs on a more limited timetable every weekend this summer, with services every 30 minutes on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. The “parking disuasorio” has space for over 200 cars, and the existence of the shuttle bus saves a good deal of hassle both for you and for others!
