One tourist hotspot in Spain has made it into the top 10 of the finest beaches on the planet

Each year, world-renowned travel guide TripAdvisor takes us on a tour of some of the most fascinating coastal destinations on the planet, ranking the very best beaches based on the ratings and opinions of millions of travellers.

This list is compiled taking into account the quality of the water and sand, the beauty of the surroundings, the tranquillity or vibrant atmosphere of each destination and the range of activities and services available.

In 2025, the ranking highlights paradises spread across the globe, from the turquoise waters of the Caribbean to the stunning coasts of Europe, Asia and Oceania. And this year, a top tourist hotspot in Spain has made the cut.
